Biography:

Shafqat Amanat Ali (Urdu: شفقت امانت علی) (born in 1965) is a well known and famous Pakistani classical singer. He is the son of late Ustad Amanat Ali Khan. He is the 7th generation of Patiala Gharana. He has been a student of classical music since age four. His first teacher was his grandmother. He is the youngest brother of late Asad Amanat Ali Khan. He received his bachelors degree from Government College University Lahore. He was the lead vocalist of the Pakistani rock band Fuzön. He was also awarded by President’s Pride of Performance on 14th of August,2007.

After the release of “Saager” in 2002 Shafqat leave the band Fuzon in 2006 and start concentrating on his solo career. Based on Folk and Sufi works Shafqat first album “Tabeer” was commissioned and released in mid September 2008. Shafqat also gained fame within India in no by singing songs “Mitwa” for the movie Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, “Yeh Honsla” for the movie Dor and “Bin Tere” for the movie I hate Luv Storys. He released his second solo album called “Kyun Dooriyan” in 2010. It also included a couple of songs namely Kaga Ja and Naal Naal which he had written during his time with Fuzon.

Hadiqa Kiani (Urdu: حدیقہ کیانی) born 11 August 1974 in Rawalpindi, is a Pakistani singer-songwriter, and philanthropist. Hadiqa rose to fame in 1995 with her debut album Raaz. She received instant fame and was nominated and won numerous awards in Pakistan as well as International awards. Since her debut, she has released five albums, all receiving similar fame. Hadiqa was named "Best Pop Female Singer" in Pakistan. Her single, Jannan, was the fastest-selling single of 2009/2010 and her album Aasmaan achieved similar success. In 2009, She became a judge on Pakistani reality television shows Pakistan Idol and LG Awaaz Banay Star.

Jal The Band (Urdu: جل بینڈ) is a Pakistani pop/rock band formed in Lahore in 2002. The group was formed by Goher Mumtaz (vocals and guitar) and Atif Aslam (vocals).

They achieved fame with the release of the single "Aadat", after which lead vocalist, Atif Aslam, left the band and was replaced by new vocalist Farhan Saeed and bassist Aamir Sheraz. Their new lineup followed by their debut album, Aadat (2004), which was declared the best selling album of 2004 on Geo TV by the owner of Sadaf Stereo. The band's second album, Boondh (2007), won 3 awards, including the Best Album of the Year and the Best Video Award for Song "Sajni" at the Lux Style Awards in 2008. Jal revealed on their account that they are Preparing for their third Studio Album, which is expected to come in mid 2011 in both India and Pakistan. The band is among the first of contemporary Pakistani bands that fuse Urdu vocals with modern Pop.

Ali Zafar (علی ظفر) born May 18, 1980 in Lahore, Pakistan also known as the Prince of Pop, is a Pakistani musician, actor, painter and model, popular in Pakistan for his music, including his hit songs like Channo, Rangeen, Chal Dil Merey, Dekha, Masty and Sajania. He started his singing career with the song Jugnuon Se Bhar Le Aanchal in the film Shararat, directed by Pakistani actress and director Samina Peerzada. Junaid Jamshed (جنید جمشید; born September 3, 1964) is a Pakistani recording artist who gained fame as the frontman of the pop group, Vital Signs in 1987 with the hit song, Dil Dil Pakistan, and remained in demand throughout the 1990s. In 1994, he released his debut solo album, Junaid of Vital Signs, which also quickly became a national hit, followed by Us Rah Par in 1999 and Dil Ki Baat in 2002.

Since then, he has focused on Islam and concentrated on reciting nasheeds/naat. His debut religious album, Jalwa-e-Janan was released in 2005 and was followed by Mehboob-e-Yazdaan in 2006, Badr-ud-Duja Badee-uz-Zaman in 2008, and in 2009. Biography:

Nazia Hassan and Zohaib Hassan were a singing sensation and pioneers of the Pakistani pop music scene during the 1980s. Nazia and Zoheb are also one of the most successful groups in Pakistan which sold more than 100 million albums worldwide, making them one of the world's best-selling music artists.

The group initially gained prominence from their music single "Aap Jaisa Koi" first featured as a soundtrack for the Indian film Qurbani. The song was also part of the group's debut album Disco Deewane released in 1981 by Indian producer Biddu. The duo released their second album Boom Boom in 1982 which was also the soundtrack for the Bollywood movie Star, based on the life of both the brother and sister. After two years the band recorded their critically acclaimed Young Tarang (1984) which is the first video album release in Pakistan. The video album sold 40 million copies worldwide and became the highest selling video album. Nazia and Zoheb released their fourth studio album, Hotline (1987), which featured the duo's younger sister, Zahra Hassan, on tracks "Soja" and "Telephone Pyar". The group released their last studio album Camera Camera in 1992, which was also the first album produced by Zoheb Hassan.
